About Gracie Grapplers  

Gracie Grapplers is a children's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program designed to teach self defense, respect, disipline, self confidence and as well as promoting health and fitness.

When a child has self confidence they feel as though they can acheive anything they desire; without it everyday tasks become a challenge because they question whether or not they can reach their goals every step of the way.

Unfortunately, acts of bullying occurs every day, and the bully will keep going as long as they feel the other child is scared.  In many cases bullying lasts over a long period of time and the longer it lasts the greater the psychological damage to the victim.  At Gracie Grapplers students learn how to stand up for themselves and defuse situations with words but have the the knowledge to deal with a bully head on if the situation ever amounted to it.

Classes are taught in a fun way using games and strategies to develop the basic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques which will serve as the base for more advanced classes.  Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a life long sport with an endless amount of knowledge to gain.  The final goal is to prepare all students of Gracie Grapplers for entry into the adult program.
